Disappointing Experience with a Defective Recliner and Poor Customer Service
I had a very disappointing customer experience with the product I purchased. The recliner I received has a defect; the seating capacity is so small that when I sit, about a quarter of my legs are left hanging out.
A recliner should typically allow you to sit comfortably, but this is not the case here. I am not a heavy person either; I weigh just 65 kg. When I contacted customer support, I was made to wait for a long time, only to be told that their technician had confirmed there was no issue with the product. However, there seems to be no consideration for the customer's perspective.
I requested them to send an expert to take proper measurements, but the advisor bluntly refused, stating that he couldn't do anything further.
It's frustrating to spend money on a defective product that cannot be used as intended. At this point, it's more like a showpiece than a functional piece of furniture.

Cheap quality wardrobe delivered for premium price
Regarding Order SKU. FN176****-S-PM22522, I had ordered this cabinet from Pepperfry.
Two months into its usage, all the side doors have started falling apart. Instead of giving a refund, you have sent a carpenter to fix it, who has not guaranteed that this will be a permanent fix.
I am extremely disappointed with the fix. Please take this back and issue a refund.

Bed broken within 1 year with minimal usage
We had bought Pepperfry AKAKO king size bed. The quality of wood is horrible and it chips from every joint.
The joint chipped, and the support plank broke.
The Pepperfry carpenter came and said that it's a manufacturing defect, but the customer care called and said that it can't be covered under warranty. The bed is under warranty, but still the customer care executive says that they won't so anything!
Please do not buy this brand. The wood is horrible, and customer care is worse.

No response from Pepperfry. I had order one sofa which is defective & termite inside the sofas. Now they are not even interested to solve these problem.
Your after sales service is pathetic. Within 4 to 5 days of receiving the new sofa, termites have been noticed.
To be noted - our flat is clean without anybody occupying it. How can termites be there in. New and unused sofa is the main question. After multiple follow-ups some representative visit, but we are yet to get a close yet.
We want to return this Sofaa and get a refund. Have lost complete faith in Pepper fry.

Pathetic service from pepperfry
We had pretty bad experience with pepperfry. We did order L section LHS Sofaset and its terrible.
Order Id. 30962****. Placed order on 5th April and it was shown in the web site the delivery date as 21st April. When placed order, we got the update delivery date will be April 24th which is ok.
Around 7th April got call from the supplier of Pepperfry regarding our order and details. Felt very happy. He assured that the product will be same as in the website. All sudden on 13th Saturday got message that our sofa will be delivered today.
Felt even very happy. Now the story started. Around 2PM on satursday delivery truck came and delivery team opened the box. To our utter dismay, the sofa is completely different than what we ordered.
Color is different, material is different, quality is pathetic. Now actual thing. Its used one with cloth color getting faded all over the place and stitching coming out in many places. The delivery guys itself surprised to see how the product came and told us to raise complaint immediately.
As per their advice, with in 5 mins of delivery raised complaint and spoke to the customer service representative who told their carpenter will visit to see and will initiate the next steps. Their carpenter visited and he himself surprised to see the condition of the delivered sofa and took the pics and told us he will upload the pics for return and refund. Again I had conversation today with the customer service representative who promised the resolution by EOD today. None called till now.
PL NEVER EVER BUY ONLINE FROM PEPPERFY. ITS COMPLETELY CHEATING BY THEM. THEY NEVER BOTHER ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCTS DELIVERED BY THEIR THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS.
IF THIS NOT GET RESOLVED IN NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS, I NEED TO LOOK FOR LEGAL OPTIONS. ITS DISGUSTING TO KEEP SUCH PATHETIC SOFA IN OUR LIVING ROOM WHICH WAS USED BY SOMEONE ELSE.

I have been trying to reach the customer support as the product delivered is defective but no one is answering the call.
The product was supposed to be installed at the time of delivery but the delivery person just dropped it and left. And when we tried to install it the product would fix properly as there is something defective in it.

Delayed Delivery
The most pathetic delivery service, it took almost one month for them to deliver a table, and that was after writing so many emails. There is no customer care agent or number with whom you can talk, they only have an email address and a chatbot where you write again and again, only to get frustrated. They should change their tagline from 'Happy Furniture' to 'Pathetic Furniture.

Grievance to be addressed immediately

Delayed delivery without any communication
I placed an order for a sofa on June 28, 2024. It was promised to be delivered by July 13th.
To date, there's no information. Yesterday, I received information that it was out for delivery. I contacted the delivery person and requested either a delivery before 1 pm or after 4 pm. However, he has not delivered it and mentioned that a delivery attempt was made, but the customer was not available.
I don't know when he came. Today, I received a message that, at the customer's request, it was rescheduled to July 19th, but this isn't certain.
There's no customer care number to complain to. The chat service is worthless.

Resolved: Order not delivered
I placed an order on 24th May and the item has not been delivered yet. I received an auto-reply email from cs@***.com stating that the item will be delayed.
However, I need to know how long it will take to be delivered. It was supposed to arrive on 5th June.
Today is already the 9th. I hope for a valuable reply.
