No action by Pepperfry for failure during guarantee
I had ordered 14W LED warm white bulb brand name Jaquar from pepperfry order no 30456****-HC169****-S-PM25206 - Invoice enclosed - No PF/17-18/030 dated 16 Oct 2018.
The bulb has 2 years warranty but failed within 7 months.
I raised ticket with pepperfry during last week - EM-300519-**** but they responded stating that the guarantee will be directly taken care by the manufacturer .
Contacted Jaquar lights customer care . They gave me the number of Manager Mr.
Mithun - 974228**** . When I spoke to him he informed me that Pepperfry is not their dealer and they are doing illegal business hence replacement is responsibility of Pepperfry.
Again I went back to P epperfry - Their response is your ticket for this issue has been resolved and closed you may open new ticket if you have any other issue.
This is the typical example of illegal and unethical business jointly by Jaquar lights and Pepperfry . Both of them are running away from the responsibility and the promise of guarantee as they already got their money.
Please be cautious while buying things from Pepperfry.com or brand Jaquar.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $10.
Preferred solution: Provide replacement .
Pepperfry Cons: Arrogancy on taking action.

The other bulb from the same invoice has also failed now which is within less than one year and this time too there was denial for replacement by Jaquar. I had to go through same process of escalation and harassment before it could be replaced. This time, I have not contacted pepperfry as I know that they will not do anything nor bothered about it.
After escalation Jaquar has replaced the item . They were blaming pepperfry.com for keeping the customer in dark without providing information on warranty support.
